As a practicum, this course consists of a handful of group projects.
In each project, you and your team will employ data science and machine
learning methods to answer a question using real-world datasets.
Meanwhile, the other teams will also be designing their own approaches.
Leaderboards will track the performance of each team's submission, scoring them against a hidden ground-truth.
Will your team submit the best model?
Will it be the best-designed code, best-documented project, and best-presented methods?
Can your team beat the all-time records for each project?
This class is not an introductory data science course.
This course assumes prior knowledge and
experience in programming, statistics, and
machine learning.
These are requirements; it is NOT recommended to take the course without them.
